AudioDev and dr. schwab IT enter into strategic partnership to improve BD testing

 

AudioDev and dr. schwab IT, two leading suppliers of testing equipment for Blu-Ray Discs (BD), have decided to join a strategic collaboration within optical media with primary focus on BD. With the combined resources and current product portfolios the companies will be able to offer the market leading solutions.

At present time a study with a major customer to both companies is being conducted. The study aims at showing how the measurements from AudioDev and dr. schwab IT testers can be combined to provide an increased process window for the customer, and by such giving indications on how to offer other customers superior value in the future.

The strategic cooperation will mainly be in situations when this is required by customers, but can also involve collaboration in other areas.
