Ideally located in the heart of Europe, Frankfurt hosts the continent's largest airport and European road and rail junction. From the airport, it is only twelve minutes by suburban train (S-Bahn) to Frankfurt Main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof), from where four S-Bahn lines run to the Exhibition Centre every five minutes. 
 
It is also possible to reach the Exhibition Centre by underground railway (U-Bahn). From the Main Railway Station, U4 trains take visitors to the Messe / Festhalle station in just four minutes. 
 
The City of Frankfurt am Main is an economic and financial metropolis with 3,000 branches of foreign companies and 600 banks, around 230 of which are foreign. There are around 170 hotels offering a total of almost 24,000 beds. The greater Rhine-Main region outside of Frankfurt City can provide another 65,000 beds.
