One Minute Corporate Backgrounder
AGI Amaray is famous innovation in the media packaging market, and for inventing the DVD case, and most of its derivatives, including the Red Tag system that allows retailers to live merchandise with acceptable risk. Amaray innovation was not just confined to product but also led in the development of the manufacturing process that is now used by most of the industry today. Amaray remains Europe’s largest Case manufacturer for Games and Video and supplies customers on every continent bar Antarctica.

Brief Bibliography
After doing a history/economics degree, I started working life with a well know Ad agency group starting in the production dept before moving on to account management functions. I then joined American National Can (the worlds largest beverage can company, and now called Rexam, but part of Pechiney then) in a strategic and development function to assist in planning and product development. During this time I helped to bring the first widget beer cans to market with Guinness and brought in new promotional ends and can sizes. I was moved on within the group to the Pechiney Aluminium, (now part of Alcan, then the worlds 3rd largest Aluminium Company) business, based in Paris as the worldwide product manger for their $750m Canstock business for both food and beverage.  I left to do an MBA, before entering the world of plastics and AGI Amaray and become involved in the adoption of Red Tag by major retailers and specialist stores across UK, Australia and Scandinavia, as well as the development and launch of major media products such as the high security button, Blu-Ray Case, Multi and Slim packs as well as the new Bio Box, ensuring that Amaray Brand remains the leader in innovation in Media Plastic Packaging
