New Licensing Tools Chuck Hausman, Philips

Abstract Philips has announced new licensing tools in the area of CDR, DVD, CD and Player patents. This presentation will outline these new tools and how they benefit the licensee. 
Biography Mr. Hausman has been a member of the California Bar Association since 1996. He worked for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) from 1996-2004. Among other achievements while at the RIAA, Mr. Hausman prepared the study used by Judge Patel in her decision to enjoin Napster. He has worked on thousands of IPR criminal piracy cases and designed Internet, Optical Disc and Law Enforcement training and programs. From 2004 to 2006 Mr. Hausman was employed by the Motion Picture Association of America as Deputy Director, US Anti Piracy Operations. Mr. Hausman is currently Senior Intellectual Property Counsel with Philips Electronics.
