Computer-to-Screen Technology - A timely update on the technological and economical advantages of Computer-To-Screen imaging technology

Abstract
The seminar will examine the technological differences and the respective advantages and disadvantages of available computer-to-screen system. A detailed look at the production workflow provides insight on how computer-to-screen technology can improve efficiencies and increase productivity. A case study will show how computer-to screen technology can affect the bottom line and ultimately make a company more competitive.

Biography
Wolfgang Pfirrmann is the Operations Manager for KIWO's Digital Products Division and has been involved with the development and marketing of Computer-To-Screen Systems for KIWO and Kissel + Wolf since 1996. During his 30-year career in screen-printing, Wolfgang has accumulated extensive experience in all areas of screen printing and has written myriad technical articles for trade magazines and trade association. He is a frequent speaker and seminar conductor at industry conventions, trade associations sponsoring educational programs, and at trade organizations. Wolfgang has also developed many educational programs for screen printers and for universities that offer graphic arts programs. He was inducted into the Academy of Screen Printing Technology (ASPT) in 1997.
